Valentines Day Mini Sessions 2016!!!

Were into a brand new year with brand new Stylized Minis, and the first one up is the very popular Valentines Mini sessions!

As always, Lisa Marie Valentines Minis will be gender neutral, very freaking cute and images that can be used year round. That classic gorgeous vintage feel sure to make all the grown ups melt, and all the kids giggle!

The images on the blog are examples of previous years, this year will be just as, if not more amazing! So grab your little romantics and doll up your dolly’s because we are shooting these in less then 3 weeks! Only 2 days available! (On demand sessions can be arranged but they will be at a more expensive rate)

(And of course as tradition, for the 4th year now, I will have the kissing booth on hand for those new and those wanting to keep the tradition going!)

HOW DO I BOOK???

When: February 6th and 7th 2016  from 10am-4pm both days. 

Cost $95.00 plus GST (Add up to two siblings for $15.00 each) If you have more then 3 children you must book a back to back session, which is also recommended if you want to have more time and more images. Please ask Kim at bookings@lisamariephotography.ca for more details.

What Included: A full gallery of the best photos and your choice of a minimum of 5 professionally edited high resolution digital photos in an online downloadable gallery.  All full resolution photos delivered via email for instant download, sharing options on all social media sites, custom links for easy emailing, affordable printing options, and safe online storage for up to 10 years, as well as a free app for your smart phone where you can show off your gallery anywhere you are!

Age Recommendation: Recommended sitting to 12 Years. If a sibling is able to hold a younger baby up thats ok, as well as I do have baskets to help prop the new little ones who need help, just note there is less poses we can do with a baby who can not sit up.

Santa Minis 2015

Its beginning to look a lot like SANTA IS COMING!!!

Our annual Santa Mini sessions are BACK! Every child will have a mini session with Christmas Props, as well as time with Santa! These are not just photo sessions, they are an experience. That you get to all be a part of. Throw out your idea of the typical Santa visit though! No waiting in line and praying you get your kids on that big ole lap. We are not looking to replace tradition, but to enhance to it! We don’t pose your kiddos on Santa’s lap, and let him be the main event, we are focused on the kids 100%, their reactions, emotions and Santa is just an idea, and more of a “prop”.

These sessions are honestly the most memorable mini sessions I have ever done, HANDS DOWN. There is an element to these that I did not anticipate when I started doing them 5 years ago :) Being quick and having tons of experience with small kids makes for an excellent mini session photographer. But you add a big guy in a red suit with a beard, WHOA…this takes on something entirely new. I have never been so emotionally excited and exhausted after an event. The pure magical and sometimes horrific reactions had me and my team on our toes!

For this reason we added the “portrait” mini bonus in the beginning of the session with NO Santa to start so no matter what reaction your little ones have, you leave with some holiday magic :) *please note, it is not an option to just do Santa or the portrait session at a discount. What can you expect?? ANYTHING!!! That’s whats so different about these sessions. You really can’t predict most of the time what the reactions will be. With more time then just plopping your kid on some strangers lap, even kids who are a bit afraid sometimes can overcome that fear and pose with a scary 19 year old in a red suit ;)

And… sometimes, they are still a little nervous :)

And that’s perfectly imperfect as well!

I have to admit, there is a special place in my heart for ALL of these reactions! No matter what way your kiddo reacts, you have the memory forever. And let me tell you as a mom of a 19 year old (who also plays our UN-intimidating Jolly Santa)…. THESE ones are PRICELESS!!!! (literally there are no limitations on what you can do with gold like these!)

As I said, this is an experience!! One I look forward to sharing with you and your kids.  You can choose to prep your kids and tell them what they are doing, or as most do, make it a surprise! You know you kids best. You may just be surprised as to how they react! I am looking forward to a couple of these kids above coming back this year. I can’t wait to see some of those fears turn into excitement :)

When:  November 27, 28, 29, 2015 NEWLY ADDED: Dec 5, 2015 – Quick before Santa goes back to the North Pole!!

Whats included: Each session we will be 20 mins long, spending a little time before Santa arrives taking some Christmas themed photos, once we are set, Santa will come in and we will capture their first looks for you to cherish, YES some are absolutely magical and  at times those looks can be, well, …frightful..hehe.. but these are timeless moments!! Santa will pose with your children, give hugs and high fives, as well as give a candy cane and say goodbye. 1-2 weeks later you will receive a high resolution gallery with images via email. YOU get to choose your favourite 5 images (plus one extra per added sibling). Your gallery will have options for instant download, sharing options on all social media sites, custom links for easy emailing, affordable printing options, and safe online storage for up to 10 years, as well as a free app for your smart phone where you can show off your gallery anywhere you are! Halloween 2015

I WILL be stuffing your babies and possibly small children into pumpkins, as, per usual!

Halloween themed mini sessions are BACK, so grab your little candy munching kiddos, and head down to the studio where I will have it set up with hay, pumpkins, and a few fun props just for the little ones to celebrate the up coming Halloween season! Costumes are welcome, but not necessary, and you are also able to bring a second set of cute fall clothes too if we have time we will change!

Fall Vintage Tea Party Sessions!

I wanted to change things up a little this year and do true annual Tea Party Sessions in the FALL this year! I can’t wait to see all your little ones in their adorable new Fall clothes :)

What YOU get :) A 15 min time slot, a minimum of 5 images in a gallery, that will be emailed to you, they are high res, that you can download, email and post to all your favourite social media sites, AS well as print! Each child will have the themed images AS WELL as a head shot for the wall!

Cost: $75 each session, you MAY add a sibling $15 each, up to 3 kids per session. If you have more then 3 kids please book 2 sessions and there will be no charged for your 4th child. Lemonade Mini Sessions 2015

Hello everyone! Im so excited to announce that we are opening up Lisa Marie’s Lemonade stand again this year!!

Isn’t there just something so sweet and special about summer, kids and lemonade stands? Especially THIS lemonade stand! I love these mini sessions so much. And so do the kids! Playing, tasting, squeezing lemons is just fun!

And despite the sticky fingers, I just  have so much fun doing them! 2015 Lisa Marie Lemonade stand will be a little revised but still have the sweet vintage classic charm :)

Fall Family Minis 2014

Its time to start planning your fall photo outfits! The leaves are starting to change and I know what’s on your mind!! FALL FAMILY MINI SESSION!! These sessions are perfect for those who are looking for just a mini session and just need a quick update for the wall. That can include just a kids sessions, maternity session, couples and families! The dates have been set for the annual mini session event. This will be our 4th year, and sells out every year! I cant wait to see all my families again!

What if it RAINS?? These sessions are rain or shine! This is BC, we adapt :) and the farm house is an excellent locations to shoot rain or shine, with several barns, and covered areas. Every year has worked out amazing, we have had a little rain, even some SNOW in the past and with them being mini sessions it seems to work awesome, Im fast and move quickly so no-one gets too cold. Make sure to bring COATS for the kids even for in-between takes shots!! Redwood Park has massive trees and is great even if its sprinkling, but in a heavy rain we will relocate but NOT CANCEL unless of emergency….

What to wear?? Oh this is the best time to start your shopping! Fall clothing is out in stores now, Pick a color pallet you want to work with and have some fun! Its ok to not be very “matchy”, but its also very appealing to take your pallet and find fun ways to blend your family together. Try this Google search for inspiration! “what to wear photography”

Attire: Costumes welcome but not mandatory, fall colours and theme recommended.

Arrival Time: Please arrive 10 mins prior to your session time that’s given at your time of booking (no more), late arrivals will cut into your session time. You will be asked to wait outside or in the entryway for your turn so as not to disrupt session in progress.
Session time: 15 mins
Cost $75.00 plus GST (Add up to two siblings for $15.00 each) If you have more then 3 children you must book a back to back session.

Includes: A full gallery of the best photos and your choice of a minimum of 5 professionally edited high resolution digital photos in an online downloadable gallery.  All full resolution photos delivered via email for instant download, sharing options on all social media sites, custom links for easy emailing, affordable printing options, and safe online storage for up to 10 years, as well as a free app for your smart phone where you can show off your gallery anywhere you are!

Age Recommendation: Recommended sitting to 12 Years. If a sibling is able to hold a younger baby up thats ok, as well as I do have baskets to help prop, just note there is less poses we can do with a baby who can not sit up.

Disclaimer- Mini sessions are in no way guaranteed. You are given 15 mins with Lisa only. Lisa makes every effort to work with your family and kids,but she can not be responsible for members who are not cooperating/smiling for photos, this includes fussy babies, toddlers who will not pose, teens who are stinky and miserable husbands (bring treats and bribes, the husbands love fruit snacks too!) PLEASE DO NOT give your kids “treats and bribes” prior to the session, these are magic weapons and to be used when necessary! Please just keep this in mind when you are booking mini sessions. All finished photos will receive editing, but not retouching or extreme measures such as “swapping heads” ;), please make sure your kids are TATTOO free (big pet peeve lol) Please also note anyone saying, “oh but you can just photoshop that right?” will get a pinch :D ALSO mini session can run a little behind at times, if you are waiting for your session to start please be patient and do not interrupt the current session, we are all moms and dads and know sometimes other little ones need a little extra few mins  at times and no one wants any kids to be left out. Allot an extra 15 mins after before you need to be anywhere else! Thank-you for your understanding.
