Flower Shop sessions are BACK and the shop is almost OPEN!!

 

 

 

 

I have teamed up with local nursery owners from Peace Arch Nursery’s who are supplying us with AMAZING flowers for our live flower shop this year! The photos in this blog are from last Flower Shop session. Every year its a little different, but still sweet as sweet can be. We will have a new stand, and new flowers of course!! ha!

Im not that funny am I… lets just get back to cute kids, those sell sessions much better then I do!!

 

 

 

I love all seasons. I do. Each one has beauty in its one way. But I have to say, this moment now between this dreary rain and the blossoms budding, has been TOO DAMN LONG!!!!!

I am SO looking forward to this session and the Mommy and Me ones that are happening the weekend before!

Arrival Time: Please arrive only 5-10 mins prior to your shoot time given booking. Late arrivals will cut into your session time. Please note if you do arrive early to be respectful of the clients in session. Kids can be distracted quite easily by on lookers and other children. So a mindful distance is appreciated :)

Session time: 15 mins

Cost $125.00 per session time. This includes one child. To add additional children a charge os $25 will be added, 3 kids per session time MAX. Each child will receive one extra image included in the session fee!

Do you have more then 4 kids?? We got you covered! You get to book:

 “The Brady Bunch Package” ;) Two session times back to back (30 minutes, up to 4 kids, twice the photos, twice the time, no sibling add on until we hit 6 kids! Then I will have to start charging you! Come on! IMMEDIATE SIBLINGS/step ONLY. 

What do you get?? A full gallery of the best photos and your choice of a minimum of 5 professionally edited high resolution digital photos in an online downloadable gallery. All full resolution photos you choose are delivered via email for instant download, sharing options on all social media sites, custom links for easy emailing, affordable printing options, and safe online storage for up to 10 years, as well as a free app for your smart phone where you can show off your gallery anywhere you are!

Age Recommendation: Recommended sitting to 18 Years or more! If a sibling is able to hold a younger baby up that’s ok! I do have baskets to help prop the new little ones who need help, just note there is less poses we can do with a baby who can not sit up.

 

Book with a Friend BONUS!!  We often get asked to book cousins and friends together or back to back sessions. And this is something we love accommodating! It does give you more time and I dont mind squishing in friends and cousins together if time permits, so this spring if you book two sessions, back to back, you will get $50 ($25 each) off your session fee!

This will include up to 4 kids in total. That is a $100 savings. If there is more then 2 children per session then the added sibling fee will apply.

Mommy and Me 2017

Mommy and Me Moments Are Back!!

And by mommy, I mean all mommy’s of all ages and all the kiddos :)

I’ve gone to visit and the garden…. and it is budding just in time to Celebrate the best kind of people I know!

 

 

 

If you are anything like me you are always the one behind the camera snapping cute photos of the kids and dad, or the only ones you are in are where your holding your iPhone up high right?? Well here is your chance, grab your kids, open up those Pinterest outfit ideas and book your session! Better yet, I am even giving you permission to match your mini me’s and go grab a Mommy and Me Manicure!

 

 

I know all you do. I know how hard you work and how you make sure your kids and partners going strong and happy. Now lets imagine if we put a fraction of that effort into ourselves and had… lets say adorable photos of us with our kids?

They have friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist you every step of the way. Unlike other nurseries I have been to Peace Arch staff are there ready to help you select the right plants for your garden, providing you with the right tools and advice to maintain a thriving garden!

NEW THIS YEAR: Sewful Designs Is making us matching Mommy and Me pink Tutus! We will have available one full length flowing Mommy Tutu, and 3 child sized tutus to have a little fun with! Possibly a few fun props and some tea party fun! If you would like to try a tutu, please let us know when your booking! We will allot a few extra minutes to change. You are responsible to supply tops. I suggest simple white tank tops for Mommy and Kids. And little white/pink/light coloured shorts. I cut off old leggings sometimes :) MOMS!! Dont be SHY! Have some FUN!! What could it hurt??? 

Sessions Include: A full viewing gallery of the best photos and your choice of 7 edited images (more images available for purchase when viewing gallery is sent) delivered High Res, via downloadable gallery to your email address, all images are focusing on mothers/grandmothers/children, immediate families only please. Groups of up to 5 members per session. If you are planning to get aunty and cousins involved please inquire as to how you may book back to back sessions. *note, these are not family sessions, no dads please :) Just cutie pie little boys allowed!

Attire: Recommended attire for kids and mommy’s is casual yet not TOO casual. NO sweat pants and old tennis shoes, moms leave your lulu’s at home! If you are getting in the Tutu, dont forget the tops and bottoms!!

KIDS ONLY Holiday Mini’s 2016

Welcome to Lisa Marie’s Magical Window Sessions!

The KIDS ONLY sets this year are a lot bigger, but are still meant for KIDS! Teens are welcome as well with their siblings :) Babies, toddlers and younger kids have inspired this session keeping in mind the magic of the season.

 

 

Our exact set will be a little different and there will be more props and my own style added but but the lovely Mary E Hebert has  her version and I love it!

 

 

 

I will pick a couple images to add a little photoshop glow or sparkle “MAGIC” to if all goes well, and you will have the option to choose ONE of those images included in your sitting fee.

Whats included (slight changes depending on when you book) This year your session time is 20 mins and includes a high resolution gallery  where you get to choose YOUR favourite 5 images… (including 1 “magical” image) These are sent via email with instant download capability, sharing options on all social media sites, custom links for easy emailing, affordable printing options, and safe online storage for up to 10 years, as well as a free app for your smart phone where you can show off your gallery anywhere you are!

You have 2 options for this session!

*ON DEMAND*

This means that you can choose the date and time. These sessions are 10 minutes longer (30 minutes plus 1 extra magical image) and you can choose a week day evening from November the 14th-Dec 14th on Tuesdays-Wednesday-Thursdays.

Sessions on Demand are $195

NOVEMBER 20th EVENT

Sessions for this event are $155

On November the 20th we will be offering 20 minute sessions as with most mini session events. These will be set between 12pm-7pm.

What to wear?

This is a great set becasue you can do any kind of outfit. My set will have a tree as well so we can do both Holiday Dress and PJ’s very easily! Bring your favourite christmas sweaters!

Yes these are quick session times, but as you can imagine with up to 24 slots in a day, and between 24-72 kids, babies and toddlers coming and going the unexpected can and does happen. Please be patient and do not interrupt the current session. We are all moms, dads, and guardians, we all know that things happen. Please allot at least an extra 30 mins before you need to be anywhere else after your session time. Thank-you for your understanding.

Lisa Marie’s personal tips for successful sessions with kids! A few days leading up to the session practice taking photos with your kids! But DO NOT make it a chore. Just have FUN with it. Show them the photos immediately. DO NOT make them pose. DO NOT make them say CHEESE. Encourage silly faces and sad faces and PLAY. BE IN THE PHOTOS with them and be silly!!! If you can, have the camera or your phone on mirror so your kids, babies and toddlers can see themselves in the frame.

YES- You can bring treats and bribes for children to earn during any portrait session. (Husbands love fruit snacks too!) PLEASE DO NOT give your kids “treats and bribes” prior to the session, these are magic weapons and to be used when necessary and when EARNED! DO NOT give your children anything that you can not take away from them. Please just keep this in mind when you are booking mini sessions. All finished photos will receive editing, but not retouching or extreme measures such as “swapping heads” ;), please make sure your kids are TATTOO free (big pet peeve lol)

Back to School IN-Studio 2017

 

 

 

 

Its not your fault. You did your best. It seems like its what were suppose to do right?? I mean school photos are a right of passage!!

But something has happened to school photos the last decade. They have become these passport, digitally enhanced, and rather expensive ordeals where our children sent off in the morning pretty and perfect then they are filled in one by one so quickly, and though our teachers do the best they can, almost every year we are disappointed!

So for the 5th year now in a row, we are offering our super sweet classic, vintage back to school sessions so you can rest easy and mark these days that fly by.

 

 

 

When: Tuesday Evenings on October 4th, 11th & 18th between 3-7pm each Tuesday.

Where: The sessions will be done at the Cloverdale Studio. Location will be sent with invoice.

Back 2 School Apple Orchard 2016

 

 

Every year I post these blogs, and show you the cute photos and chat about back to school. Which I am NOT going to stress about this year. Do I have the school supplies? Are the cute little outfits picked out?

 

 

NOPE, not at all. But instead of stressing out this year, I am not doing it. Lets face it. Its damn hot in september still so summer clothes are FINE, and who needs all the school supplies the first day??? NO ONE! Not only that, I’ve learned that the teachers will send you reminders for a few weeks before things get real. Now YOU who keep procrastinating…. getting back the school photos that you send your kids blindly into and then crying over the regret.. THIS IS IT!!!!!!

The story why I do them: (if you really wanna know)

I stopped doing even before I became this “momtographer” my now 19 year old came home year after year when he was in elementary school with these photos that I didn’t even recognize him in.  They were just awful.  Not his personality, so fake looking and these weird digital back grounds they have not, they did not reflect that beautiful boy on that day AT ALL. I felt a little guilty that i would not have the typical yearly boring photos across my house, but I just could not spend $50 on a pack of bad photos. I can honestly say not one of them are hanging lol. But I got over it. And then I DID something about it….

 

 

This is our 5th year now offering these and I hope to do them another 20. I have many little ones I have seen since the beginning and I hope to see all of your kids out this year!

Hello everyone! I am back. I have a lot to apologize for this past year. there has been some unfortunate personal issues that piled up and frankly, I just needed a break. But while I have been taking some personal time with my kids and sorting through some things, I have been busy planning some new things for our little company, so there is a LOT coming up that is really exciting! I will be giving away over $10,000 worth of photography and launching a brand new website and social media campaign to re-launch, the new reinvented ME! :)

Now I know that I have missed a couple of annual mini sessions this summer, and I am very sorry to disappoint anyone. I could not let summer go by without squeezing in ONE SUMMER mini session that I have always wanted to do, so I decided today that we are going to do it, and I am seriously PUMPED!

 

 

Every year since I started shooting I have done Lemonade Mini Sessions! And I have loved them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But this year I have decided that I want to change things up. Watermelon is literally my #1 food obsession. I probably consume 2-3 large watermelons every week when they are in season. And then they are not… I admit I shamefully pay ridiculous amounts of money for the little ones whenever I can.

 

 

 

I FREAKING LOVE WATERMELON!!! So for me to have to BUY 30 watermelons for a mini session, is actually very FREAKING EXCITING!! And my imagination is bursting with juicy ideas!

 

 

 

 

None of these images are mine sadly, but some amazing talent showcased here! I just dont have no time to do a promo shoot before sending this blog, but here are a few inspirations so you get the idea, of course I will have my own Lisa spin on our watermelon mini sessions and a boat load of props becasue I over due it always ;)  I am even working on a truck lol.

When: August 17th and 18th  3-7pm  (Late Afternoon-early evening times only)

Cost $95.00 plus GST  per 15 min session, (Add up to two siblings for $25.00 each) WILL INCLUDE ONE EXTRA IMAGE PER CHILD. If you have more then 3 children you must book a back to back session there is just not enough time to work with 4 kids at one time. Booking back to back sessions also gives you DBL the time, the images at a lesser cost!

Includes: A full gallery of the best photos and your choice of a minimum of 5 (depending on package) professionally edited high resolution digital photos in an online downloadable gallery.  All full resolution photos delivered via email for instant download, sharing options on all social media sites, custom links for easy emailing, affordable printing options, and safe online storage for up to 10 years, as well as a free app for your smart phone where you can show off your gallery anywhere you are!

 

 

 

Age Recommendation: Recommended sitting to 12 Years. If a sibling is able to hold a younger baby up thats ok, as well as I do have baskets to help prop, just note there is less poses we can do with a baby who can not sit up.

Its Mommy and Me time! FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH OF MAY!!

And by mommy, I mean all mommy’s of all ages and all the kiddos :) Im so excited to kick off this spring with you all! We are heading back to our favourite place, with my favourite ladies!

If you are anything like me you are always the one behind the camera snapping cute photos of the kids and dad, or the only ones you are in are  where your holding your iPhone up high right?? Well here is your chance,  grab your kids, open up those Pinterest outfit ideas and book your session

 

 

 

I know all you do. I know how hard you work and how you make sure your kids and partners going strong and happy. Now lets imagine if we put a fraction of that effort into ourselves and had… lets say adorable photos of us with our kids? Our own moms?  Come meet me at one  of my favourite outdoor locations, The Historical Stewart Farm House. These mini sessions are just for moms and kids (sorry dads, your turn will come) The focus on these sessions are to capture that bond with you and your kids, grandmas, sisters and aunties welcome too!

Arrival Time: Please arrive only 5-10 mins prior to your shoot time given booking. Late arrivals will cut into your session time. Please note if you do arrive early to be respectful of the clients in session. Kids can be distracted quite easily by on lookers and other children. So a mindful distance is appreciated :)

Cost $165.00 PLEASE  bring a $2 donation per person for the Farm House, I will be matching all donations, its always nice for us to give back to our amazing city and preserve its fine history :)

Includes: A full viewing gallery of the best photos and your choice of 5 edited images (more images available for purchase when viewing gallery is sent) delivered High Res, via downloadable gallery to your email address, all images are focusing on mothers/grandmothers/children, immediate families only please. Groups of up to 5 members per session. If you are planning to get aunty and cousins involved please inquire as to how you may book back to back sessions. *note, these are not family sessions, no dads please :) Just cutie pie little boys allowed!

Attire: Recommended attire for kids and mommy’s is casual yet not TOO casual. NO sweat pants and old tennis shoes, moms leave your lulu’s at home!

Spring Mini Sessions 2016

WOW, I can’t believe it!! Time to book SPRING MINIS??!!

 

 

 

I know, I can’t believe that I am planning these now and that SPRING IS COMING!!!! YAY!!! I am so excited to see things start blooming and growing and most of all, to see YOUR new babies and kids growing!

 

 

4 years ago I decided to change the Spring/Easter themes minis to inside the studio, which was kind of strange, because the first year I did them, we had amazing weather. Lets call it “photographers intuition” because every year from then and to now has been poring rain on the dates we pick, so I have had so much fun bringing the challenge of that pretty sweet spring feel inside!

 

This year will be no different, and super fun!

This is the theme we are using for the 2016 Spring Mini’s! So fun and bright and vivid!

 

 

 

 

HOW DO I BOOK???

*Please read all the details*! If there is something we have not covered, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Where: At the studio! (address sent with final confirmation Located in Cloverdale, Surrey BC)

When: March 5th: 10am-2pm March 6th: 2pm-5pm and March 12th: 9am-1pm
