Mommy and Me Moments Are Back!!

And by mommy, I mean all mommy’s of all ages and all the kiddos :)
I’ve gone to visit and the garden…. and it is budding just in time to Celebrate the best kind of people I know!
If you are anything like me you are always the one behind the camera snapping cute photos of the kids and dad, or the only ones you are in are where your holding your iPhone up high right?? Well here is your chance, grab your kids, open up those Pinterest outfit ideas and book your session! Better yet, I am even giving you permission to match your mini me’s and go grab a Mommy and Me Manicure!
I know all you do. I know how hard you work and how you make sure your kids and partners going strong and happy. Now lets imagine if we put a fraction of that effort into ourselves and had… lets say adorable photos of us with our kids?
Our own moms?
Come meet me at one of my favourite outdoor locations, The Historical Stewart Farm House. These mini sessions are just for moms and kids (sorry dads, your turn will come) The focus on these sessions are to capture that bond with you and your kids, grandmas, sisters and aunties welcome too!

Our Flower Shop Mini session (coming soon) always has the best fresh flowers donated by Peace Arch Nursery! I am so happy to be supported by local growers right here in our amazing city. They haves over 35 acres of land in the Greater Vancouver area. Not only to I love them, but so does most of ALL local retailers including Costco!! So save a few bucks and go support the actual local buisness who grows those amazing flowers here!! Give that money to your neighbours and not the big box retailers! All bedding plants and hanging baskets are grown locally by them! They have friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist you every step of the way. Unlike other nurseries I have been to Peace Arch staff are there ready to help you select the right plants for your garden, providing you with the right tools and advice to maintain a thriving garden!
They even go as far as LOADING YOUR PURCHASES!! I love how they look after the little things :) Like supporting YOU local moms!

Arrival Time: Please arrive only 5-10 mins prior to your shoot time given booking. Late arrivals will cut into your session time. Please note if you do arrive early to be respectful of the clients in session. Kids can be distracted quite easily by on lookers and other children. So a mindful distance is appreciated :)
Session time: 20 mins
Cost $185.00 PLEASE bring a $2 donation per person for the Farm House, I will be matching all donations, its always nice for us to give back to our amazing city and preserve its fine history :)
Are you a single Super Hero? I mean Mom?
I’d like to give a shout out to all my Single Mommas!! Single Moms will receive a 10% discount. Please let Jennifer know when booking! If you know a single mom who can’t not afford a session with her kids, I would love to help you sponsor this rad lady! When you are booking, let us know you would like to sponsor another deserving mom, and we will share the cost with you! And if you send us their information we can send them a lovely gift card with a message from you explaining that you have gifted them this session and we can take care of booking them in! This is on an honour system. No one will have to prove income or single hood. So I ask that when you are booking two sessions for you and your single momma, please consider that sessions are limited, and this is not Buy 1, get 1 1/2 off. This is you and I giving a gift. Being a single mom myself, I also have kids who need shoes too, and each session that I gift with you is one session less then I can take on…. wait, maybe someone should buy me one!! :P

NEW THIS YEAR: Sewful Designs Is making us matching Mommy and Me pink Tutus! We will have available one full length flowing Mommy Tutu, and 3 child sized tutus to have a little fun with! Possibly a few fun props and some tea party fun! If you would like to try a tutu, please let us know when your booking! We will allot a few extra minutes to change. You are responsible to supply tops. I suggest simple white tank tops for Mommy and Kids. And little white/pink/light coloured shorts. I cut off old leggings sometimes :) MOMS!! Dont be SHY! Have some FUN!! What could it hurt???
Sessions Include: A full viewing gallery of the best photos and your choice of 7 edited images (more images available for purchase when viewing gallery is sent) delivered High Res, via downloadable gallery to your email address, all images are focusing on mothers/grandmothers/children, immediate families only please. Groups of up to 5 members per session. If you are planning to get aunty and cousins involved please inquire as to how you may book back to back sessions. *note, these are not family sessions, no dads please :) Just cutie pie little boys allowed!
Attire: Recommended attire for kids and mommy’s is casual yet not TOO casual. NO sweat pants and old tennis shoes, moms leave your lulu’s at home! If you are getting in the Tutu, dont forget the tops and bottoms!!
Think, cute, trendy, and comfortable YES you can go a little matchy match, its allowed.

If the email you are emailing from is not your prefered contact email please indicate your preferred contact email. If you already have a PASS account set up let us know that email address (then all your albums stay together under one account) and we can see your choices once you have picked them.

Disclaimer- Mini sessions are in no way guaranteed. You are given 15 mins with Lisa only. Lisa makes every effort to work with your family and kids,but she can not be responsible for members who are not cooperating/smiling for photos, this includes fussy babies, toddlers who will not pose, teens who are stinky and miserable husbands (bring treats and bribes, the husbands love fruit snacks too!) PLEASE DO NOT give your kids “treats and bribes” prior to the session, these are magic weapons and to be used when necessary! Please just keep this in mind when you are booking mini sessions. All finished photos will receive editing, but not retouching or extreme measures such as “swapping heads” ;), please make sure your kids are TATTOO free (big pet peeve lol) Please also note anyone saying, “oh but you can just photoshop that right?” will get a pinch :D ALSO mini session can run a little behind at times, if you are waiting for your session to start please be patient and do not interrupt the current session, we are all moms and dads and know sometimes other little ones need a little extra few mins at times and no one wants any kids to be left out. Allot an extra 15 mins after before you need to be anywhere else! Thank-you for your understanding.
