Family Holiday MINI Sessions!!!!

Alright, we have quite a few things for you to consider this year! So please read over the ENTIRE blog carefully before sending in your requests. In order to accommodate the different needs each families I am changing things up a bit. Offering both a mini session event, as well as on demand options!

Lets start with FAMILY HOLIDAY SESSION WEEKEND! 

The sets are still on route and I can’t wait to dec this place out! The weekend I am offering the first option will be your most affordable because we are setting up the set once and then booking multiple sessions. So if you want this price then you must book for the weekend I am offering. If you want to book this set on a night of your choice, the on demand option will cost more. But will be a little longer. Details below for that.

Holiday Mini Session Event will be held November 12th and 13th. You can use these for just Kids or just families.

“Holiday Glow” (just imagine it a little more decked out!!)

Whats included! Session time is 15 mins. Includes a high resolution gallery where you get to choose YOUR favourite 5 images sent via email with instant download capability, sharing options on all social media sites, custom links for easy emailing, affordable printing options, safe online storage for up to 10 years, and a free app for your smart phone where you can show off your gallery anywhere!

When: November 12th and 13th (READ BELOW FOR ALTERNATE DATE OPTIONS)

Who’s invited? You and your family, Just the kids, pets, everyone! The studio is small, so immediate families of 5-6 is maximum. Please be prepared to sit and cuddle for your photos!

What to wear?: This is a great time to bring out the Christmas outfits, or dress up in your favourite christmas sweaters! Keep in mind that you will be asked to sit so dress comfortably.

Cost: The cost is $145 per session, no additional cost per person (MAX 2-3 adults per session due to studio size). Immediate family members only. Cousins and friends can be booked back to back and we will allow for some combined photos.

ON DEMAND OPTIONS!

“On Demand” options will be a bit more expensive since we need to set up for each session. But you have the advantage of choosing a time that works best for you, you have extra time (20 mins) if you want to do a outfit change and  your photos will be turned around in 5 days or less.

ALL ON DEMAND OPTIONS are available for booking starting November-Mid December 18th and offered Tuesday, Wednesday, thursdays. Cost for each session is $185

PLEASE READ!!

Disclaimer- Mini sessions are in no way guaranteed. You are given 15 mins with Lisa only. Lisa makes every effort to work with your family and kids, but she can not be responsible for members who are not cooperating/smiling for photos, this includes fussy babies, toddlers who will not pose, teens who are stinky and miserable husbands. Please also note anyone saying, “oh but you can just photoshop that right?” will get a pinch :D

Mini session can run a little behind at times, if you are waiting for your session to start. Yes these are quick session times, but as you can imagine with up to 24 slots in a day, and between 24-72 kids, babies and toddlers coming and going the unexpected can and does happen. Please be patient and do not interrupt the current session. We are all moms, dads, and guardians, we all know that things happen. Please allot at least an extra 30 mins before you need to be anywhere else after your session time. Thank-you for your understanding.

Lisa Marie’s personal tips for successful sessions with kids! A few days leading up to the session practice taking photos with your kids! But DO NOT make it a chore. Just have FUN with it. Show them the photos immediately. DO NOT make them pose. DO NOT make them say CHEESE. Encourage silly faces and sad faces and PLAY. BE IN THE PHOTOS with them and be silly!!! If you can, have the camera or your phone on mirror so your kids, babies and toddlers can see themselves in the frame.

YES- You can bring treats and bribes for children to earn during any portrait session. (Husbands love fruit snacks too!) PLEASE DO NOT give your kids “treats and bribes” prior to the session, these are magic weapons and to be used when necessary and when EARNED! DO NOT give your children anything that you can not take away from them. Please just keep this in mind when you are booking mini sessions. All finished photos will receive editing, but not retouching or extreme measures such as “swapping heads” ;), please make sure your kids are TATTOO free (big pet peeve lol)
