Ok Dads, it’s your turn! The moms can’t have all the fun with me and the kids! I bet your looking at your walls and computers and feeling pretty jealous of all theses gorgeous memories the Moms and I made and you are ready to show them just what gorgeous IS ;)

I have been told by all the Daddies how much they LOVE these sessions because Daddy and Me mini sessions are only 15 mins, the perfect time for most Dads! :) I know how much you guys look SO forward to photo day, but trust me, this will be short but very very sweet with you and your wee ones!

 

 

Where: Stewart Farm House in Surrey BC, address sent with confirmation :)

When: Saturday, June 6th from 10am-4pm and Sunday, June 7th from 2pm-5pm

Cost $125.00 plus GST This session fee includes up to 5 family members. Please be clear that imitate family only! And just daddies, grandaddies, kids and siblings! That includes grown up kids too!!

Includes: A full gallery of the best photos and your choice of a minimum of 5 professionally edited high resolution digital photos in an online downloadable gallery.  All full resolution photos delivered via email for instant download, sharing options on all social media sites, custom links for easy emailing, affordable printing options, and safe online storage for up to 10 years, as well as a free app for your smart phone where you can show off your gallery anywhere you are!

Flower Shop Mini Sessions 2015

I love each and every stylized mini session event I do, or I would not do them! But this one here was one of YOUR favorites too! I have had so many requests to do another one of these, so back by popular demand!!

THE FLOWER SHOP IS OPEN!!!

I supply the flowers, the gardening tools, THE AMAZING NEW MINI FLOWER SHOP THAT WE ARE BUILDING!! (Its going to be SO adorable!!) and the adorable props and fun crazy photographer lady, and YOU supply your cutie-pa-tootie kids in there summer best and we will make some incredible memories!

 

 

 

This year we have been blessed with flowers from the amazing Peace Arch Nurseries who are located in South Surrey. I am so happy to be supported by local growers right here in our amazing city. They haves over 35 acres of land in the Greater Vancouver area.
All bedding plants and hanging baskets are grown locally by them! They have friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist you every step of the way. Unlike other nurseries I have been to Peace Arch staff are there ready to help you select the right plants for your garden, providing you with the right tools and advice to maintain a thriving garden! They even go as far as LOADING YOUR PURCHASES!! I love how they look after the little things :)

The flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, and the bee’s are stinging…… wait, thats not right… well, actually it is, because I got stung last week while sitting in my truck! minding my business  waiting in line at the boarder on my way to the mailbox to pick up some outfits for my kids that I ordered off Esty…. the things we do for our kids…. just to make them look so cute all the time hey? BUT WHAT ABOUT US???

 

 

 

 

 

Now lets imagine if we put a fraction of that effort into ourselves and had PROOF! Like, lets say adorable photos of us with our kids? Our own moms?  If you are anything like me you are always the one behind the camera snapping cute photos of the kids and dad, or the only ones you are in are  where your holding your iPhone up high right?? Includes: A full viewing gallery of the best photos and your choice of 5 edited images (more images available for purchase when viewing gallery is sent) delivered High Res, via downloadable gallery to your email address, all images are focusing on mothers/grandmothers/children, immediate families only please. Groups of up to 5 members per session. Attire: Recommended attire for kids and mommy’s is casual yet not TOO casual. NO sweat pants and old tennis shoes, moms leave your lulu’s at home!

2015 Spring Mini Sessions

 

 

Wow, spring has SPRUNG on us quickly this year! 4 years ago I changed the spring mini’s to the studio as the risk of cold weather was so hard on the little ones, but this year could be surprising! Still, I think my little ones will be happy to come and play this year with my new little friends :)

 

 

 

 

The chicks have hatched here at the Lisa Marie Studio! (my kind of chicks anyway, the ones that don’t peep or poop or stink up my house!

 

 

 

Dont worry mommies and daddies, or animal lovers, this chicks are just right for little ones, soft and……. well, non-pecking. If you have not guessed, no they are not real. We thought about brining in the real ones, but my littlest clients can sometimes be a little afraid of the ones that move and scratch, and the little real chicks are so fragile. We made the executive decision to bring in these little ones and we LOVE the outcome!

Valentines Day Mini Sessions 2015

OoooOOoooh la la! Love is in the air, oui?

 

 

Well, even if you don’t have a hot date this valentines day, you are going to want to celebrate with your wee ones this year. We have the sweetest little sets this year, as always :)

 

 

And also as ALWAYS, the most adorable surprise props on hand :) You will have access and choices to use all or just one :)

Set #1 is a “cool” and hip, yet adorable chalk board style set, very fun!

Each design is very different I could not choose just one! Both very gender neutral. The props I have this year are SO FUN!

The “Quickie” Boudoir 2015

 

Its back! The “Quickie” Boudoir event is happening THIS coming January 24th!

Well, thats up to you to decide, but I have made it easy for you to try Boudoir with my 2015 “Quickie” event! Its the perfect opportunity for you to get a taste of what everyone is talking about without too much financial commitment. I have secured a private home location with an amazing suite that I use quite often for a’ la carte sessions so the pricing this year has gone DOWN instead of up from last year!

What is included: In each pampered session you will receive a complete personally designed for you full make up session with the amazing team from Gaby Ramirez Makeup & Hair Company, with your choice of lashes, and also a full make up session. A wardrobe planning time with a Lisa and then your 30 min boudoir session. At the end of your session you will receive a fully retouched secured gallery of all your best images sent to you via email, all high res downloadable and shareable. This is where YOU get to choose the 5 images that are included in your session fee. Your complete session is just that. Complete. The only thing you need to bring is a smile and your outfit choices. If you like your gallery and want to purchase more you have the choice at only $25 per high res digital file (other larger packages including more than one digital image is also available).

What to bring! I am all about the choices, and there is a plan and options to fit all budgets, all shapes and sizes. I RECOMMEND ONE OUTFIT CHANGE MAX (its not about what you wear but how you wear it!) This quality not quantity!)

Cost: A 50% required deposit of $172.50 +5% gst is payable at the time of booking. Then 2 days before your session you will be invoiced for the remaining balance of $172.50 + 5%gst so no need to worry about anything on your session day. You are welcome to pay by MC, VISA, PayPal, cheque, cash or email money transfer (please note cash & check deposits are required to be dropped off within 48 hours of booking to secure your booking)

Christmas Family Minis

Ive decided to change things up a little this year and offer something new…

 

Family Holiday sessions that are open to all ages WITH a few different set ups to choose from AND several dates for more flexibility.

 

Not everyone WANTS santa photos! (but if you do check out; SANTA MINI SESSIONS!)

Holiday Mini Sessions will be held in the evenings Starting November 25th and run through to Mid December (dates below). These will be on demand a couple of days a week! You can use these for both Kids, Pets, and families!

BLOG WILL BE UPDATED ONCE EVERYTHING ARRIVES, but to give everyone an idea of the sets I have created this blog for a quick reference.

There will be a couple of styles to choose from, you may choose ONE per session fee:

Lisa makes every effort to work with your family and kids,but she can not be responsible for members who are not cooperating/smiling for photos, this includes fussy babies, toddlers who will not pose, teens who are stinky and miserable husbands (bring treats and bribes, the husbands love fruit snacks too!) PLEASE DO NOT give your kids “treats and bribes” prior to the session, these are magic weapons and to be used when necessary! Please just keep this in mind when you are booking mini sessions. All finished photos will receive editing, but not retouching or extreme measures such as “swapping heads” ;), please make sure your kids are TATTOO free (big pet peeve lol) Please also note anyone saying, “oh but you can just photoshop that right?” will get a pinch :D ALSO mini session can run a little behind at times, if you are waiting for your session to start please be patient and do not interrupt the current session, we are all moms and dads and know sometimes other little ones need a little extra few mins  at times and no one wants any kids to be left out. Allot an extra 15 mins after before you need to be anywhere else! Thank-you for your understanding.

 

Santa Mini Sessions AND Christmas Portraits! 2014

Its beginning to look a lot like SANTA IS COMING!!!

 

And since last year went so amazing we are doing it again, the 2 mini sessions in one! BONUS CHRISTMAS PORTRAIT SESSION has been added with a longer session time!

Every child will have a mini session with Christmas Props, as well as time with Santa! (and this year, A NEW AWESOME LOOK! Please note these are last years images and NEW props will also be added :)

These sessions are honestly the most memorable mini sessions I have ever done, HANDS DOWN. There is an element to these that I did not anticipate :) I am quick, and I have tons of experience with small kids (you know having had a bunch of my own too :) . This makes for an excellent mini session photographer. But you add a big guy in a red suit with a beard, this takes on something entirely new. I have never been so emotionally excited and exhausted after an event. The pure magical and sometimes horrific reactions had me and my team on our toes!  

 

 

The images after had me laughing and smiling for days, the pure honest reactions we caught were worth all the work, in the end I know we were not just taking pictures with Santa, we made and captured forever memories.

AN EXCITING NEW ADDITION THIS YEAR IS A BRAND NEW BACK DROP!!!!! All new special look this year, same great simplicity as not to distract from those gorgeous faces :) 

When:  December 7th (Sunday) Afternoon times available.

Whats included: Each session we will be 20 mins long, spending a little time before Santa arrives taking some Christmas themed photos, once we are set, Santa will come in and we will capture their first looks for you to cherish, YES some are absolutely magical and  at times those looks can be, well, …frightful..hehe.. but these are timeless moments!! Santa will pose with your children, give hugs and high fives, as well as give a candy cane and say goodbye. 1-2 weeks later you will receive a high resolution gallery with images via email. YOU get to choose your favourite 7 images. Your gallery will have options for instant download, sharing options on all social media sites, custom links for easy emailing, affordable printing options, and safe online storage for up to 10 years, as well as a free app for your smart phone where you can show off your gallery anywhere you are! As well as the options to purchase more images.

What to wear: Please feel free to bring your Christmas outfits, Christmas PJ’s and anything you choose, we will allow for 1 outfit change between Portrait session and Santa session so your welcome to bring 2 outfits.

 

Who is invited? All children, from newborn to 18 years! Sorry parents these are not for gown ups! No family sessions will be taken at this time, please check out our Christmas mini family session event , Fall Mini events.

Cost: $165 Cost includes both Christmas Themed Portrait session, Santa Mini session, Images and Candy Cane. Add a sibling for only $15 up to 3 per session.
