June is Dads Month! And we have GIFT CARDS!

Which of course means Daddy and Me mini sessions!

 

 

So what are you waiting for??

Come out and play!!

 

Daddy and me sessions are not always the most popular, but this year I have been asked many times if I will offer Daddy and Me sessions this month!

So I have decided to set this up and see who is as excited as I am about these!!

 

 

Instead of a day, I have decided to make the month of June all about the dads!

SO, if you have a dad who deserves to be a RAD super hero…. lets do this!

 

 

And you single dads??

I have the hook up for you! (NO NOT THAT KIND!!??)

Single dads will be getting a 10% discount! ;P

 

 

When?? The month of June! Weekends are limited, but week day evenings are a perfect time. Email with the following info and lets set it up!

Cost is: $195

Sessions Include: A full viewing gallery of the best photos and your choice of 7 edited images (more images available for purchase when viewing gallery is sent) delivered High Res, via downloadable gallery to your email address, all images are focusing on the father/grandfathers/child bond, immediate families only please. Groups of up to 5 members per session. If you are planning to get aunty and cousins involved please inquire as to how you may book back to back sessions. *note, these are not family sessions, no moms please :)

If the email you are emailing from is not your prefered contact email please indicate your preferred contact email. If you already have a PASS account set up let us know that email address (then all your albums stay together under one account) and we can see your choices once you have picked them.

Are you a single Super Hero? I mean Dad? Or do you know one?? Lets give them a GIFT!!

I’d like to give a shout out to all those rocking single dads! Just like the moms,  Single Dads will receive a 10% discount. Please let us know when booking!

If you know a single Dad who can not afford a session with her kids, I would love to help you get them hooked up with a special session! When you are booking, let us know you would like to sponsor another deserving dad, and we will share the cost with you!

Please make sure you send us their information we can send them a lovely gift card with a message from you explaining that you have gifted them this session and we can take care of booking them in! This is on an honour system.

 

 

 

 

 

No one will have to prove income or single hood. So I ask that when you are booking two sessions for you and your single Dad, please consider that sessions are limited, and this is not Buy 1, get 1 1/2 off. This is you and I giving a gift. Being a single mom myself, I also have kids who need shoes too, and each session that I gift with you is one session less then I can take on…. wait, maybe someone should buy me one!! 

 

 

 

Attire: Recommended attire for kids and Dad’s is casual yet not TOO casual. NO sweat pants and old tennis shoes, dads leave your work clothes at home!

Think, cute, trendy, and comfortable YES you can go a little matchy match, its totally allowed!

DADS ‘n KIDS!! Dads, you will have the option to wear a RED Cape/mask, or BLUE Cape/mask. The red capes are intended to be worn with Dads and Boys, and the Pink Capes are intended to be worn with your little girls!

We suggest that you bring plain matching T-Shirts to wear with the capes and kids.

 

 

Disclaimer:

Mini sessions are in no way guaranteed. You are given 30 (on demand time) mins with Lisa only. Lisa makes every effort to work with your family and kids, but she can not be responsible for members who are not cooperating/smiling for photos, this includes fussy babies, toddlers who will not pose, teens who are stinky and miserable husbands. Please also note anyone saying, “oh but you can just photoshop that right?” will get a pinch :D

Mini session can run a little behind at times, if you are waiting for your session to start. Yes these are quick session times, but as you can imagine with up to 24 slots in a day, and between 24-72 kids, babies and toddlers coming and going the unexpected can and does happen. Please be patient and do not interrupt the current session. We are all moms, dads, and guardians, we all know that things happen. Please allot at least an extra 30 mins before you need to be anywhere else after your session time. Thank-you for your understanding.

Lisa Marie’s personal tips for successful sessions with kids!

A few days leading up to the session practice taking photos with your kids! But DO NOT make it a chore. Just have FUN with it. Show them the photos immediately. DO NOT make them pose. DO NOT make them say CHEESE. Encourage silly faces and sad faces and PLAY. BE IN THE PHOTOS with them and be silly!!! If you can, have the camera or your phone on mirror so your kids, babies and toddlers can see themselves in the frame.

YES- You can bring treats and bribes for children to earn during any portrait session. (Husbands love fruit snacks too!) PLEASE DO NOT give your kids “treats and bribes” prior to the session, these are magic weapons and to be used when necessary and when EARNED! DO NOT give your children anything that you can not take away from them. Please just keep this in mind when you are booking mini sessions. All finished photos will receive editing, but not retouching or extreme measures such as “swapping heads” ;), please make sure your kids are TATTOO free (big pet peeve lol)

Please note that our turn around time is approximately 2-3 weeks but sometimes longer if we are very busy or there is unforeseen cicomstances. Holiday themes are always delivered prior to the holiday but not guarenteed. Lisa is full time shooting several days a week, and unlike some other companies, each image is edited very carefully by Lisa Marie. This does take time, so if you are unable to accept the turn around times, then its best you let us know if there is a special circumstance so we can let you know if we can get them to you sooner. This may mean that you need to find another photographer, but we will do our best to accommodate you :)*
